It's December 1st which means a new Currently! Originally stolen from the excellent Courtney @ The Fig Tree, I have come to enjoy doing this every month. It's nice to reflect on what's going on with Liz every month. So here we go!

Dreaming About: Christmas holidays! I am very excited for the two weeks "off". Really, they will hopefully be filled with family, friends, food, and fun! 15 more school days left.
Reading: I am not currently reading anything, which kind of makes me feel embarrassed (shouldn't I be reading in my off time?!). I would like to read Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy sometime soon, though!
Loving: Spending some quality time with Shoes in our small, shared office. He hates it... well, no, he doesn't. He just hates that I don't have earphones, lol.
Watching: The Office season 2! I am coming up to the fourth disc, which I can barely stand. DON'T WORRY, JIM!! SHE LOVES YOU!! YOU GET MARRIED IN 3 SEASONS!!! DON'T CRY!!!! *sniffle*
Also - starting up the Christmas movie cycle! Very happy for my first viewing of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Anticipating: All of the amazing movies coming out this season, including but not limited to The Hobbit and Les Miserables (!!!LESMIS!!!!).
Listening To: I have been listening to a lot of Adele's Skyfall and Florence + The Machine. Oh, and Christmas songs. :D
Planning On: Baking! A lot of baking! So I have to organize all of that and coordinate because I keep thinking of things to bake for!
Working On: My goals for this blog, a blog I would like to start for teaching, and how to organize myself. I've decided that I need to be more organized because there are so many parts to my life (teaching/professional, personal, as a couple). I think part of this blog will be dedicated to my organization techniques as well.
Wishing: That my weekends wouldn't pass by so quickly! Haha! In all seriousness, I am wishing that a good friend from work wasn't going to be leaving so soon (she is only on a term until February). I am SO sad that she is leaving. It's nice to have a classroom neighbour who has the same expectations and sense of humour. I mean, although everyone laughs at "square root of triangle", no one really gets why it's so funny except for her. So there we go.
Reflecting On: How lucky my family and I are and how happy I am that I will be spending time with them in the next few weeks.
Enjoying: Getting ready for the holidays, including our Christmas cards! I am so excited to send them out.
Pondering: What candies I should include for the gingerbread "party" that Gennie, Madeleine, and I are having (we strike again!)
After doing this post, I have realized (must to my chagrin) that I have not yet started my yarn wreath. GRR.
Awe, season two. SO GOOD! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Weekends need to SLOW the heck down!
Cannot wait to see (and sample) all of your Christmas baking!
15 more days until you are on vacation. That will be really nice!
I am super pumped about The Hobbit. Cannot wait!
