Dreaming About: Disneyworld. Matt and I hope to go for our honeymoon. We want to go next summer but that may have to change, but it doesn't mean I can't research and imagine our trip!
Reading: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins in honour of Hunger Games coming out this week!!
Loving: Playing Ultimate Frisbee three times a week. I always feel amazing on Thursday (enough so to go for runs!) and I don't feel as sad that this is the second last week of the summer season since I've really had my fill!
Watching: The Office. I usually half watch it when I'm working and since I've been doing a lot of stuff for the wedding and getting ready for the new school year, it's been on non-stop.
Anticipating: The wedding in October! It's going to be a lot of fun but I need to make sure everything's okay and going according to plan. I'm also trying to make sure that I'm having a lot of fun along the way.
Listening To: The Pride & Prejudice 2005 movie soundtrack. It's beautiful; try it!
Planning On: Going to the US this weekend! I have some stuff to pick up at the border so might as well make it a day trip with my best friend ever, Shoes. I'm really looking forward to going for the drive and having quality time with him.
Working On: Being more organized, in my personal and professional life. A lot of my stuff is prepared so I no longer have to worry about the teachable stuff, but teaching it (if that makes sense).
Wishing: I would blog more consistently. I am also wishing that I actually stuck with my educational blog. There's so much I think I can share and so much I need to organize for myself that I think it needs to happen but I never seem to have time.
Reflecting On: The past year. Last Tuesday was the one year anniversary of me and Shoes living together. We have somehow survived a very trying year and have learned a lot about each other. I can honestly say that I am so happy with him every single day, that every day I get to my apartment, I am so glad to be home. Also, I am missing our old place that we originally stayed in and all the conveniences (its proximity to a Starbucks and other awesome coffee shops, a Safeway, and a 7-11, and buses that come regularly). I love our place now... but I still miss it.
Enjoying: My last week of freedom! Then it's back to work every day!
Pondering: If there's any ultimate teams during the fall that need a female player! Also, wondering if the condos down Henderson are awesome, available, and if we can get one because they seem awesome!
Love this!!! I'm so glad you posted one! I think I'm going to do a "Currently..." post every month, as a way to keep track of what I've been up to, enjoying and thinking about each month :) You should do a post like this every month too. It was great to read! *HUGS*
ReplyDeleteHope you have a GREAT time in the States this weekend! I too am anticipating your wedding! It's going to be amazing!!! Is the Pride and Prejudice CD by Rachel Portman? I sure hope you guys get to go to Disney very soon. Sounds like it would be an incredible honeymoon! And, I wish I had the skill and nerve to play ultimate! Looks fun! :)
I do plan on doing something like this every month! It's fun to reflect on what you're actually doing.
DeleteThanks, I hope you have yourself a good weekend to! You've been so busy that I'm sure you deserve some nice down time. The Pride & Prejudice is composed by Dario Marianelli and performed by Jean-Yves Thibaudet. It's beautiful, try it out!
Talk to you soon!
