Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are some images from today, Valentine's Day! It was overall a good day, full of fail-bot cookies and fun cards. I had a meeting to go to in the morning so I couldn't get my morning coffee, but I had an excellent day nonetheless.




These are red velvet shortbread cookies that I made from this recipe (provided by the lovely Courtney at The Fig Tree). First of all, they are not red, I did not have food colouring. Secondly, something wasn't right because they didn't quite taste like a cookie should. But they looked good, huh? And Shoes liked them, so we're good to go.




The French Teacher at my school gave me a Valentine's Day cards because she knows I love cards. I was so excited to get this, it's adorable and so thoughtful.
