Dress shopping

I went dress shopping for my wedding dress today. It was my second excursion. The first time, I went to David's Bridal. I went to a few other stores today. I narrowed it down to two, and I think I've really narrowed it down to one.

Here are the choices:
Figure 1: Organza Gown with Fern Embroidery (Vera Wang White)
~$1250

Figure 2: Pompeya (Pronovias)
~$2500

Of course I choose the most expensive dress ever as my second dress but I am going to say that it is amazingly gorgeous. The only thing is that it is slim underneath the lace which I really didn't want. But then I didn't realize that the Vera is as well.

What I loved about the "Pompeya" dress was that it was such a beautiful lace dress, perhaps the most beautiful lace dress I've ever seen. It had two layers of lace. And the train, my goodness, the train was fantastic. It was long and just darling. However, I did not like the fact that it was so fitted. I had trouble walking at first.

The first dress, and most likely my choice, was beautiful in its own right. It was definitely a well-made dress and I think fits our theme perfectly. The train was long, it had buttons all down the back (allllll down, to the very edge of the train) and was lovely. Not to mention it is half the price of the second.

I think I've officially chosen my dress!
